2025, John Hoffman
Active MCOA member since 1997, John has served as MCOA President, Vice President, and Secretary. He was Assistant Commissioner of Football and officiated the 2002 and 2003 State Semifinals, as well as the 2003 State Finals. A former MEAC and Sunbelt official, John currently serves as an ACC Head Linesman and was selected as the Head Linesman for the 2025 Rose Bowl, part of the College Football Playoffs. He has also contributed as an MCOA Instructional Presenter and Clinician since 2022.
2025, Joe Hutten
A multi-sport official in football, basketball, and baseball, Joe has been an active MCOA member since 1997. He has served as Referee and Crew Chief and was the MCOA Instructional Chair from 2013 to 2022. His on-field excellence includes officiating 13 State Semifinals and 4 State Finals
2025, Dan Evans
With over 25 years of service to MCOA, Dan spent at least 15 of those years as a respected White Hat. He played a pivotal role in mentoring officials, including John Hoffman, and helping many launch their college officiating careers. A multi-sport official in football and basketball, Dan also served on training committees and provided instruction to referees, contributing significantly to the development of officiating standards and leadership within the association. 2025, Rayme Lacy
With over 20 years of officiating experience, Rayme served the MCOA not only on the field but also in leadership roles including President, Vice President, and longtime Rules Interpreter in football. A dedicated multi-sport official, Rayme brought his expertise to football, softball, and basketball, and was known for his commitment to upholding the integrity of the game and mentoring fellow officials.
