Ed Dufrene


  • Born and raised in Hawaii
  • Birth Certificate says Territory of Hawaii instead of State of Hawaii
  • MCOA Baseball member since 2005
  • MCOA Baseball Commissioner since 2007
  • MCOA Softball member since 2009
  • MCOA Volleyball member since 2009
  • MCOA Football member since 2012
  • Multiple State Series assignments in Baseball, Softball and Volleyball
  • Combat Wounded Vietnam Veteran

Basketball Commissioner:
Calvin Wright

  • MCOA Basketball member since 1997 (24 years completed)
  • Basketball Commissioner since 2009
  • 13 times FHSAA Basketball State Finals
  • 7 FHSAA Championship Games (4 boys and 3 girls)
  • 3-year Volleyball Official
  • One-time FHSAA state evaluator of officials
  • Employed at the Kennedy Space Center since 1983
  • Brevard County Resident since 1982

Football Commissioner:
Roy Holbeck

  • Retired from Air Force after 20 years of service in 2004
  • Currently employed as a Civil Servant (since 2006) with the Delta 45
  • MCOA member since 2000 in football and 2005 in baseball and served 1 year as a Volleyball official
  • 2 time FHSAA State Football Championship official both as SJ and Umpire and 1 time FHSAA State Baseball Championship
  • MCOA Secretary for 1 year and then Football Commissioner since 2016
  • Brevard County resident since 1996

Lacrosse Commissioner:
Javier Mazza

  • Collegiate Official for Lacrosse since 2017, NAIA, D3, D2 and D1
  • Lacrosse International Official since September 2021.
  • Lacrosse Commissioner since 2020
  • 6 years Collegiate Basketball Official for NAIA, D3 and D2
  • 2 Years Collegiate Volleyball Official NAIA, and D3
  • MCOA Basketball member since 2008
  • MCOA Volleybal member since 2012

Soccer Commissioner:
Moncef Hadiji


Moncef Hadiji has been around soccer for many years as player, referee, coach, and administrator.

As referee, Moncef started as a HS referee in Wichita Kansas and soon after became a college referee.

He has participated in NCAA and NCCAA finals over the past few years.

Moncef lives in Rockledge and works as electrical engineer in Brevard County.

Wrestling Commissioner:
CW Bailey


  • USAF Veteran
  • Worked US Space Shuttle Program Nearly 30 Years, Until It Ended
  • Been wrestling/involved in wrestling since the 6th grade, thru high school and three years wrestling in the Air Force.
  • ‘80 3rd Air Force & USAFE Champion and as such named an Honorary Olympic Alternate for the ‘80 US Boycotted Moscow Olympics.
  • 36 years Officiating Wrestling
  • 26 years in MCOA
  • 12th year as the Wrestling Commissioner
  • Coached wrestling 17 years while stationed in FL, AL, UK & MA including 9 years as the Head Coach @ my Alma Mater, Cocoa High School
  • To Date I Have Officiated 125 National Championship Tournaments In Folk, Free & Greco Roman Styles
  • Been Nominated For Induction Florida Chapter National Wrestling Hall Of Fame
